Answer: My 1 yo has a blanket. I'm not sure when I'll take it away. I wanted to get some opions first :).

Mystic Wonder Balls Review and Giveaway

In these economic times, everyone is trying to find ways to cut corners and save some money. I am a mother of 3 and a wife. Doing laundry for a family of 5 is not cheap. In a month, I use 2 bottles of 170 oz. 3x concentrated laundry soap. This soap at Costco runs me $19.00 a bottle. In addition, I use about 1 entire bottle of stain treater at 3.70 per bottle and a box of dryer sheets at 5.00 a box. So in one month I spend almost $47.00. I do not have much of an option on laundry product because my son has serious skin allergies.

Also, I am trying to be as eco-friendly as possible. I have made many household changes to help in the go green process.

I was honored to try the Wonder Ball System, however I was quite skeptical. I have always used smelly detergent so that my clothes smelt clean. With the Wonder Ball, it is not necessary to use any detergent. When I got the Wonder Ball, the ultimate test was my 2 oldest children's camp T-shirts. My son is not a neat child. In the first few days of summer camp, the counselors allowed my son to paint with acrylic paint (not washable)!! The Wonder Ball site says that it will remove old set in stains in 3-4 washings.

Well I've never seen such a wonderful product. After 3 washings, most of the paint was gone. By washing 7, there was only one small red spot of puffy paint left. I was amazed. I have since gone detergent free. The best thing ever is that the set will last about 3 years. Imagine the savings!!

Also, the dryer balls are amazing. It is not necessary to use a dryer sheet. I do like to use 1/2 just for the fresh smell. But the balls remove all the static and leave your clothes soft and fluffy.

Ouchies Band Aids Review and Giveaway

Being a mom of two rough children, boo boos happen almost everyday. Band aids are a hot commodity in my house. Almost every Wal-Mart trip involved getting band aids. However, my children are too old for the cartoon type Band Aids, so we settled for the plain old beige color.

This is why I was so excited when I discovered Ouchies Teen Ages Bandaids. These band aids are great all around. They offer a selection of 5 different patterns in both boy and girl styles.
