Ouchies Band Aids Review and Giveaway

Being a mom of two rough children, boo boos happen almost everyday. Band aids are a hot commodity in my house. Almost every Wal-Mart trip involved getting band aids. However, my children are too old for the cartoon type Band Aids, so we settled for the plain old beige color.

This is why I was so excited when I discovered Ouchies Teen Ages Bandaids. These band aids are great all around. They offer a selection of 5 different patterns in both boy and girl styles. In addition to that, they also have a make your own band aid that includes three permanent markers. Any child can express his or personality with ease using these band aids.

Ouchies was designed by a father who was completely disappointed in the selection of band aids available. With a bit of encouragement, Ouchies was born.

The Ouchies are called Teen Ages but I feel they are perfect for tweens too. My children, one boy and one girl, went crazy over them. They began to make up boo boos just to get open a different design. My daughter is the family artist so she went crazy with the Make Your Own.

I like the thickness of Ouchies. They seem to have more thickness than a regular band aid so if the wound it hit again, it doesn't seem to hurt as much. The Ouchies also stayed on for quite sometime in the pool. I didn't notice any redness or irritation where the band aid was once it was removed.

Ouchies also come in a reusable tin, not a cardboard box. The tin will last much longer and can be used for other things once the Ouchies are gone.
